Our patented Advanced Pole System® (APS) is a revolutionary concept and the foundation for successfully attracting birds to your backyard. Comprised of interchangeable hardware pieces, the APS lets you select the setup that best suits the habitat in your own backyard and the birds you want to attract. Its modular design allows you to add or subtract bird feeders, bird houses and other bird feeding accessories, giving you the ability to create and customize your bird feeding station with over 3,000 combinations — it is all up to you! How Does It Work? It’s easy! Just insert a screwdriver into the hole at the middle of the 4-foot Base Pole and twist it into the ground using the convenient corkscrew auger connected at the bottom of the pole. Next slide the Stabilizer onto the Base Pole and push into the ground. Tests show the Stabilizer holds the pole straight in up to 56 km/h (35 MPH) wind gusts. Plus, it is lawnmower-friendly. Get Creative! Create your own unique setup by selecting the bird feeder, birdhouse, bird bath, or bird feeder supplies you want. The APS parts fit together easily, and no special tools are required. WBU APS Patio Base with Hooks: The WBU APS Patio Base with Hooks allows you to easily mount the Advanced Pole System® (APS) on a deck, patio or grass. The base comes complete with two hooks that can secure the base into the ground. Our WBU APS Patio Base with Hooks is available in the following size:

WBU APS Large Stabilizer: The Stabilizer is the secret to the Advanced Pole System looking great and standing straight. Just slip the Stabilizer onto the pole, push it into the ground, tighten the thumbscrew, and you’ll have a bird feeder mounting/hanging system that will stand straight for years. Tests show the Stabilizer holds the pole straight in up to 56 km/h wind gusts and allows you APS to holds approximately 40 lbs. of weight.

WBU APS Large Two Piece Stabilizer: The Stabilizer is the secret to the Advanced Pole System looking great and standing straight. WBU APS 48" Base Pole with Auger: Every non-deck mounted Advanced Pole System® (APS) work of art begins with our 4' (48") Base Pole. This pole can accommodate all extensions and accessories and includes an auger welded to the bottom of the pole for easy insertion into the ground. Simply place a screwdriver in the holes located at the top of the pole and twist the pole at least 16” into the ground. The top of the pole is swaged, making it easy for you to add the Extension Pole of your choice.

WBU APS Raccoon Baffle: Having trouble with rascally raccoons getting into your bird feeders? The long, cylindrical design of our Raccoon Baffle specializes in deterring raccoons, squirrels and chipmunks from reaching your feeders. This baffle can be mounted to fit our Advanced Pole System® (APS) and is available in a durable black powder-coated finish. The baffle collar needed to pole mount this item is included. WBU APS Squirrel Baffle: Our Stackable Squirrel Baffles can make a good-looking Advanced Pole System® (APS) setup look great. Made of durable, powder-coated steel, these baffles feature a tapered design that is very effective in stopping squirrels and chipmunks before they reach your feeders. The baffle collar needed to pole mount this item is included.

WBU 18" Wrap Around Baffle: Our 18" Wrap Around Baffle is made of black powder-coated metal and is easy to install without removing your bird feeders from your pole setup. This baffle fits bird feeder poles with a diameter of ½" to 1-1/8". It also comes with a lifetime guarantee. The baffle collar needed to pole mount this item is included.

WBU Decorative APS Double Crook Arm (Swaged): Our Decorative Advanced Pole System® (APS) Double Crook Arm allows you to elegantly add more feeders to your bird feeding setup. Ideal for hanging tube feeders or smaller hanging feeders, this decorative double crook arm is swaged to fit perfectly on top of our APS Base Pole or any of our Extension Poles. (With swaging, one section of the pole is smaller in diameter so that it slides into the larger section. Swaging will also keep water from running into the pole.) Our Decorative Double Arm is black powder-coated to match our original APS design and to ensure its durability. Each crook can hold up to 10 lbs.

Add a Single Crook Arm to your setup and add to your ability to attract more birds to your backyard.

WBU APS Extended Deck Arm: Extend your feeders out even further with the WBU APS Extended Deck Arm. Measuring 36” (91 cm) this long arm is great at keeping feeders away from your deck while still enjoying the birds up close. This arm is ideal for making sure any shells from your bird seed end up in a garden bed below your deck.

WBU APS Short Extended Deck Arm (EZ Attach): The APS Short Extended Deck Arm with EZ Attach is designed to position feeders farther away from the pole. Can be added to our APS hanging, deck or mounting hardware. Attaches easily anywhere on the pole without adding additional height. Works well with our Eliminator and Fundamentals squirrel proof feeders to help position the feeders out of the squirrel’s reach.

WBU APS Short Extended Deck Arm (Swaged): Extend your feeders out even further with the WBU APS Short Deck Arm. Measuring 18” (46 cm) this arm is great at keeping feeders away from your deck while still enjoying the birds up close. This arm keeps your feeders away from you deck while close enough to easy reach for refilling.

WBU APS Fruit Feeder Branch Perches Arm EZ-Attach: Placing an EZ-Attach Advanced Pole System® (APS) Fruit Feeder Branch Perch on your bird feeding station is the perfect way to give your birds a snack and little R and R. This perch comes complete with two cups for feeding BirdBerry Jelly, mealworms, Bark Butter Bits, peanuts or even water. The branches three decorative leaves double as fruit holder for orange or apple halves. Baltimore Orioles, Gray Catbirds, woodpeckers, cardinals, chickadees, jays and more will take treats from the Feeder Branch Perch. Some birds will take turns eating at a bird feeder. Typically, they will wait out of view in a nearby tree or bush. Our Fruit Feeder Branch Perch allows birds to remain in sight while they wait to eat or feed from the branches feeding cups. It can also be used to hang additional lightweight feeders.

WBU APS Decorative Branch Perches Arm EZ-Attach: Placing an EZ-Attach Advanced Pole System® (APS) Decorative Branch Perch on your bird feeding station is the perfect way to give your birds a little R and R between feedings. WBU APS Snap Button Adapter: The WBU APS Snap Button Adapter allows you to change the direction of your Advanced Pole System® (APS) hardware or pole mounted feeders. The Snap Button Adapter comes complete with four holes to allow for adjustment in four different directions. These adapters are particularly useful when mounting one of our EcoTough® Hopper Feeders.

WBU Advanced Pole System® (APS) Combo Flange: Our WBU Advanced Pole System® (APS) Combo Flange allows you to top mount a bird feeder or side mount a bird house on your APS Hardware System. It must be used with an extension if you are planning to put it atop an APS double or single arm piece. Bird house, bird feeder and other hardware not included.

APS Catch-a-Seed Tray Bird Feeder Flange: Adding a WBU EcoTough® Catch-a-Seed Tray Bird Feeder to your Advanced Pole System® (APS) setup is simple with our APS Feeder Flange. This flange mounts easily to the bottom of a tray with four screws (Screws not provided). Just slip the tray (with the newly-attached flange) over your APS pole and set it to the height you desire. Tighten the set screw to secure the unit and you are done. (WBU EcoTough® Catch-a-Seed Tray Bird Feeder sold separately.)

WBU APS Suet Feeder Bracket with EZ Attach: Free up space on your Advanced Pole System® (APS) by adding a WBU APS Suet Feeder Bracket with EZ Attach to hold WBU Hanging Suet Feeder. The WBU APS Suet Feeder Bracket with EZ Attach secures a basic suet cage feeder onto your APS. Woodpeckers can easily fly in and land on the suet cage to enjoy the suet you provide for them.

WBU Solution Clip: Our WBU Solution Clips fit over the end of our Advanced Pole System® (APS) arms and shepherds hooks to stop critters such as squirrels, chipmunks and raccoons from lifting feeders off the hook. WBU APS Tube Feeder Adapter: Add an extra feeder to your Advanced Pole System® (APS) without buying another hook, with the WBU APS Tube Feeder Adapter. The Tube Feeder Adapter easily screws into the bottom of our WBU Seed Tube Feeders, WBU Finch Feeders and WBU Peanut Feeders. Then simply slip it into place on the top of your pole. In addition to creating more feeding space on your pole the WBU APS Tube Feeder Adapter also stabilizes your tube feeders and prevents them from blowing around in the wind.

WBU APS Hummingbird Feeder Adapter: It’s easier than ever to create a complete bird feeding station on your Advanced Pole System® (APS) with the WBU APS Hummingbird Feeder Adapter.
